Birch Tree Communities has hired Stacy Owens as expressive arts director, effective Jan. 5. Owens leads the organization’s expressive arts programming, exhibitions and creative initiatives across its statewide network.
Birch Tree Communities celebrated the opening of its newly renovated program center on Highway 16 in Clinton with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a significant expansion of therapeutic services for adults living with serious mental illness.

Dr. Brad Holloway, Chief Executive Officer of Birch Tree Communities, has been elected President of the Arkansas Council for Behavioral Health. His two-year term began on October 2, 2025.
