Birch Tree Communities is proud to announce that Director of Nursing Teneal Hill, APRN, PMHNP-BC, has been named the organization’s Practitioner of the Year. Hill was recognized at the recent Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute Annual Awards Luncheon, where behavioral health professionals from across the state were honored for their contributions to the field.

With nearly 50 years of experience in the behavioral health field, Cindy Slaughter, ACSW, LCSW, has dedicated her career to serving individuals living with mental illness and advocating for those in need.

With the completion and opening of the new Clinton branch program center in January 2026, construction is now underway to transform the previous facility into a new member group home.
