Birch Tree Communities is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Connerly, MSN, RN, CNL, SCRN, as the organization’s new Registered Nurse Trainer. Jessica has been a valued member of the Clarksville team since joining Birch Tree Communities in August 2024 and brings with her an impressive range of clinical and leadership experience.
Originally from Arlington, Texas, Jessica relocated to Clarksville in 2023 with her family to be closer to relatives. She earned her Master of Nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and holds national certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Jessica is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner. She has led innovative projects utilizing aromatherapy to support post-stroke recovery and reduce confusion in dementia patients. Her diverse nursing background spans in-vitro fertilization, inpatient neurology, intensive care, labor and delivery, hospice care, and stroke program management in Fort Worth.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, three dogs, and a cat. A lifelong learner and avid reader, she has already completed 70 of her 100-book goal for the year. She also enjoys hiking, yoga, and outdoor adventures.
“I’m taking on this new role because education is truly a passion of mine, and I’m excited to bring new training experiences to our staff to help us provide the safest care possible for our members,” said Connerly.
In her new role, Jessica will lead CPR and health-related training across Birch Tree branches, including first aid, medication safety, overdose response, and infection prevention.
Please join us in congratulating Jessica Connerly on this exciting new chapter. Birch Tree Communities looks forward to the positive impact she will make in enhancing staff education and advancing member care.
