Shayne King was named the Director of Human Resources of Birch Tree Communities in August 2017. In 2008, she earned a Human Resource Certification from George Washington University. She also holds multiple certifications, including Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR), Senior Human Resource Certification (SHRM-SCP) and International Public Management Senior Human Resource Certification (IPMA-SCP).
Shayne is a versatile and dedicated human resource professional with over 25 years of comprehensive experience and valuable expertise in financial accounting. She has served as a Human Resource Professional in the private sector, public sector, and non-profit. She has been recognized for outstanding job performance, including achieving the Arkansas Outstanding HR Professional Award in 2022 and the Arkansas HR Best Practice Award in 2024.
Shayne is actively involved in professional affiliations such as the Arkansas Society of Human Resource Management (ARSHRM) State Council and West Central Arkansas Human Resource Association (WCASHRM). She has served many years on the Board of Directors of WCASHRM in various capacities, including president. She has also served in multiple positions for the ARSHRM state council.
Shayne is a native of Saline County. She and her husband, Jeff, have three sons, Ryan, Zachary, and Brady. She also has six grandchildren, Haven, Emma, Austin, Madison, Kaitlyn, and Alex. Shayne enjoys roller skating, fishing, gardening, and watching her grandchildren play sports.
