Brandon Williams and Jennifer Sweet, Birch Tree Communities

Two Clinical Team Members Earn Highest Credentials

Brandon Williams, Director of Branch Operations in Newport, has officially earned the title of Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), the terminal license in the field of social work. This licensure represents a high level of clinical knowledge and skill and allows him to independently provide top-tier mental health services.

Brandon’s journey with Birch Tree Communities began in 2009 when he started as a part-time overnight staff member. His newly discovered passion for mental health care led him to leave a career in web design and commit fully to this work. Over the years, Brandon held various roles, including shift supervisor, program tech, day service coach, and Associate Director at Benton Town in 2015, while simultaneously pursuing his education. He earned his bachelor’s degree in social work, completed the accelerated master’s program at UALR, and became a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). He later served as a Primary Therapist in Malvern before stepping into his current leadership role.

Outside of work, Brandon is a proud husband and father of five, with two beloved pets. He enjoys hunting, camping, watching the Razorbacks, going to the movies, and spending quality time with his family.

Jennifer Sweet, Primary Therapist in Mountain View, recently passed the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) exam. Jennifer has been with Birch Tree Communities as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) since December 2023.

Jennifer earned her master’s degree in clinical counseling from Bellevue University in Nebraska and interned with Birch Tree Communities during her studies. Though there were no therapist openings upon graduation, Jennifer remained committed to the field, working in outpatient and school-based settings across Norfork, Salem, and Melbourne. Her passion and perseverance soon led her back to Birch Tree Communities as a Primary Therapist.

Jennifer is married with three children and six grandchildren. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and taking care of her farm animals.

Please join us in congratulating Brandon and Jennifer on their outstanding accomplishments! Their dedication to professional growth and member care continues to elevate the mission of Birch Tree Communities.
