The recent promotion of Todd McGuire, LPC, to Chief Operations Officer has led to further leadership changes in branches of Birch Tree Communities. Emma McCarley, LPC, transitioned to the Arkansas Health Center (AHC) Branch Director role from her position as the Russellville Branch Director. Dustin Baker, LCSW, was appointed to fill the director opening for the Russellville branch, and Coy Price, LCSW, was appointed as the Malvern Branch Director.

Emma McCarley, LPC, has served as the Russellville Branch Director since October 2023, and she was a therapist at the AHC branch prior to moving into that role. McCarley also has experience as a Recovery Assistant, Shift Supervisor, and Program Tech during her eight years with Birch Tree Communities. She is thrilled to return to the AHC branch as director.

Dustin Baker, LCSW, has been a therapist for Birch Tree Communities since 2021 at the Russellville and Clarksville branches. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. Baker began his career at Birch Tree Communities in 2012 as a mental health paraprofessional and has inpatient experience working at St. Mary’s behavioral health unit in Russellville.

Coy Price, LCSW, has been with Birch Tree Communities for 24 years as a therapist at Hope House and the Malvern branch. He received a Bachelor of Science from Henderson State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Price also has experience as a geriatric mental health program director in southwest Little Rock and Jacksonville and teaching social work classes at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.

“Each of these three mental health professionals have served Birch Tree Communities and its members with outstanding leadership and dedication,” said CEO Brad Holloway. “Their passion for caring for adults living with serious and persistent mental illness is evident through their work with our members and clinical staff. We are extremely proud to have Emma, Dustin, and Coy as an integral part of our leadership team.”
