Check out this incredible art project completed by members and staff at our Benton Town branch!! Many thanks to Program Supervisor, Seth Erwin, for facilitating this project and for donating the drums. It’s so cool to see the Expressive Arts program in action.
Seth says, “I wanted to do something different; something that hasn’t been done at Benton Town before. I realized that I have extra drums laying around that need to be restored. So, I sectioned off each drum allowing 8 different members a chance to express themselves on each drum. I gave them no parameters other than to ‘paint what you feel.’ The results turned out better than I ever expected. Benton Town’s members are some of the most creative people I’ve ever met.”
